Jaguar XJ X350 Front Ground Point Fault

These are the faults that were caused by a heavily corroded front ground (earth) point. After replacing both ground points on the right hand side of the car the problems were all fixed.

Notice the creeping windscreen wipers after I have switched them on and all the warnings on the dashboard such as park brake fault, random low brake fluid warnings, engine system fault, DSC not available and stability lights all on.

The car would also stall when driving it. The first time the car threw these faults the car also cut out and stalled at 70mph on the motorway.

The photo further down the page shows the severity of the corrosion. The bolt looked ok but you can clearly see the corrosion on the inside of the bolt as well as on the outside.
